Instructions
1-Rinse 1 cup of long-grain white rice under cold water until the water runs clear.
2-In a large pot, combine the rinsed rice, 4 cups of milk, 2 cinnamon sticks, and bring to a gentle boil over medium heat.
3-Reduce the heat to low and simmer uncovered, stirring occasionally, for about 30-40 minutes until the rice is tender.
4-Add Β½ cup of sugar and mix well.
5-Continue cooking for another 5-10 minutes until the mixture thickens, then remove from heat and let cool.
