Ingredients
– 3 large potatoes
– Olive oil
– Salt
– Pepper
– Garlic powder
– 1 lb ground beef
– 1/2 tsp salt
– 1/2 tsp pepper
– 2 tsp chili powder
– 1 tsp cumin
– 1 tsp dried cilantro
– 1 tsp paprika
– 1/2 cup water
– 1 tbsp minced garlic
– Nacho cheese
– 5 burrito-size flour tortillas
– Taco sauce
Instructions
1-First, prepare all ingredients by peeling, washing, and cutting the 3 large potatoes into small cubes. Toss them with olive oil, salt, pepper, paprika, and garlic powder until evenly coated for that perfect crispiness.
2-Second, cook the potatoes in an air fryer at 400 degrees Fahrenheit for about 25 minutes, shaking them occasionally. As an alternative, bake them in the oven at 400 degrees Fahrenheit for about 30 minutes to achieve the same texture.
3-Third, while the potatoes cook, add the 1 lb ground beef to a skillet over medium-high heat. Season it with 1/2 tsp salt, 1/2 tsp pepper, 2 tsp chili powder, 1 tsp cumin, 1 tsp dried cilantro, and 1 tsp paprika, or use a taco seasoning packet if preferred.
4-Fourth, cook until done, then drain excess grease if necessary and add 1/2 cup water, stirring to blend flavors. Keep the beef warm on low heat while you move on.
5-Fifth, warm the tortillas and nacho cheese before assembling to make rolling easier. Spread nacho cheese on a tortilla, add a scoop of ground beef, some taco sauce, a scoop of crispy potatoes, and additional nacho cheese on top.
6-Sixth, roll the burrito carefully and place it in a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook until golden brown on all sides for a delicious finish.
