Ingredients

– 1 cup butter, at room temperature

– 1 1/2 cups sugar

– 2 eggs

– 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

– 2 cups flour

– 1/2 cup cocoa powder

– 1 teaspoon baking soda

– 1/2 cup peanut butter

1-Preheat oven to 325 degrees Fahrenheit.

2-Cream together the butter, peanut butter, sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract until fluffy, approximately 3 minutes.

Notes

๐Ÿฝ A 9 x 13 inch baking dish produces the intended thickness; adjusting the dish size will change bar thickness and baking time.
โฐ For doneness test: insert a toothpick; it should come out with a few crumbs but not wet batter. Edges will be golden brown and start pulling away from the pan sides.
โ„ Bars can be frozen but are typically consumed quickly, even after freezing.
