1 and 1/2 teaspoons cornstarch

1 teaspoon baking soda

1/2 teaspoon salt

4 ounces full-fat cream cheese, softened to room temperature

3/4 cup unsalted butter, softened to room temperature

1/2 cup granulated sugar

1/2 cup packed light or dark brown sugar

1 large egg, at room temperature

2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract

1 cup white chocolate chips

1 and 1/4 cups roughly chopped cookies pieces (about 10 whole cookies)

Instructions

1-First, whisk together the 2 and 1/4 cups all-purpose flour, 1 and 1/2 teaspoons cornstarch, 1 teaspoon baking soda, and 1/2 teaspoon salt in a medium bowl.

2-In a separate large bowl, beat the 4 ounces full-fat cream cheese until smooth, then add the 3/4 cup unsalted butter and beat until combined.

3-Next, add the 1/2 cup granulated sugar and 1/2 cup packed light or dark brown sugar, and continue to beat until creamy.

4-Incorporate the 1 large egg and 2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract, beating until fully mixed.

5-Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture and stir until combined.

6-Fold in the 1 cup white chocolate chips and 1 and 1/4 cups roughly chopped cookies pieces.

7-Cover the dough and chill for at least 2 hours in the refrigerator.

8-Before baking, preheat the oven to 350ยฐF (175ยฐC) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.

9-Roll the dough into balls using about 1 and 1/2 tablespoons per cookie, placing them 3 inches apart on the baking sheets.

10-Bake for 12 to 13 minutes or until the edges are lightly browned.

11-Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
