Ingredients

– 2 blocks (8 ounces each) cream cheese, softened to room temperature

– 2 cups (226 g) pepperjack cheese, finely shredded

– 2 tablespoons whole-grain Dijon mustard

– 2 teaspoons dried chives

– 2 teaspoons dried parsley

– Β½ teaspoon dried thyme

– 2 teaspoons garlic powder

– 2 teaspoons lemon juice

– 1 teaspoon paprika

– 1 teaspoon black pepper

– Β½ teaspoon cayenne pepper

– 5 slices bacon, cooked and finely crumbled for the topping

– Β½ cup crispy fried onions, finely crumbled for the topping

– 1 tablespoon fresh chives, finely chopped for the topping

Instructions

1-In a medium bowl, combine softened cream cheese, shredded pepperjack cheese, Dijon mustard, dried chives, dried parsley, dried thyme, garlic powder, lemon juice, paprika, black pepper, and cayenne pepper until fully mixed and creamy.

2-In another bowl, mix together the bacon, crispy fried onions, and fresh chives.

3-Form the cheese mixture into a ball using a spatula or greased hands.

4-Roll the cheese ball in the bacon and onion mixture until evenly coated.

5-Wrap the cheese ball in plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 1 hour until firm.

6-Before serving, allow it to sit at room temperature for approximately 15 minutes. Serve with crackers or pretzels.
