– 1/3 cup (67 g) Light Brown Sugar, tightly packed

– 1/3 cup (78 ml) Water

– 2/3 cup (157 ml) Orange Juice

– 12 oz (340 g) Fresh Cranberries rinsed and sorted to remove bad ones

Instructions

1-First, rinse the fresh cranberries under cold water and sort out any that look damaged.

2-In a medium saucepan, mix the cranberries with sugar, light brown sugar, water, and orange juice over medium heat.

3-Stir occasionally as the mixture heats up; let the cranberries pop and thicken naturally, which takes around 10-12 minutes.

4-Once the berries have burst, taste and adjust sweetness if needed with a bit more sugar or a natural alternative.

5-Remove from heat and let it cool; this helps the flavors meld and makes the sauce perfect for serving or storing.
