About 1/4 cup extra all-purpose flour for kneading

1 cup 0% Greek yogurt

2 teaspoons baking powder

1/4 teaspoon salt

1 egg, whisked

Bagel seasoning or preferred toppings

Instructions

1-Preheat your oven to 400ยฐF to get started on this healthy homemade Greek yogurt bagels adventure.

2-In a bowl, combine 1 cup all-purpose flour, 2 teaspoons baking powder, and 1/4 teaspoon salt to build the base.

3-Add 1 cup 0% Greek yogurt and mix by hand until it forms a dough, adding extra flour as needed if it’s sticky for the right consistency.

4-Transfer the dough to a floured surface and knead for a couple of minutes, sprinkling more flour if necessary to make it smooth.

5-Divide the dough into 4 equal parts, then roll each into a strand about 6 inches long and pinch the ends together to form a bagel shape with a small hole in the center.

6-Place the shaped bagels on a parchment-lined baking sheet, brush them with the whisked egg, and sprinkle on bagel seasoning or your preferred toppings.

7-Bake for 18-22 minutes or until the tops are browned, then let them cool for 10 minutes before slicing.

8-If desired, slice and toast for 2 minutes to add crispness before serving.
