Ingredients

– 1 1/2 lbs boneless skinless chicken breasts (or chicken tenderloins or boneless skinless chicken thighs)

– 5 slices bacon, sliced and cooked

– 1 green bell pepper, diced

– 1 cup barbecue sauce

– 2 teaspoons soy sauce

– 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce

– 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder

– 1/4 teaspoon pepper

– 20 oz can crushed pineapple, drained thoroughly

Instructions

1-First, add the 1 1/2 lbs boneless skinless chicken breasts to the slow cooker.

2-Next, sprinkle the 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder and 1/4 teaspoon pepper over the chicken. Then add the diced green bell pepper, 20 oz can of crushed pineapple (drained thoroughly), 1 cup barbecue sauce, cooked bacon (5 slices, sliced), 2 teaspoons soy sauce, and 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce. Stir to combine the ingredients on top of the chicken.

3-Now, cover and cook on low heat for 6 hours without opening the lid to allow flavors to marinate.

4-Finally, after cooking, shred the chicken if desired, or serve whole or halved.
