Ingredients

– 1/2 cup mayo

– 3/4 cup sour cream

– 2 teaspoons white wine vinegar

– 1 teaspoon sugar

– 2 teaspoons Dijon mustard

– 1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

– 1/2 teaspoon salt

– 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

– 3 cups cooked macaroni pasta (drained and cooled)

– 3 cups chopped romaine lettuce

– Half of 1 red bell pepper, diced

– 1/4 cup finely diced red onion

– 1/2 cup thawed frozen green peas

– 1/3 cup chopped celery

– 1 1/2 cups diced ham

– 1/3 cup black olives

– 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Instructions

1-First: cook the macaroni pasta until it’s just al dente, then drain and rinse it under cold water to cool it down quickly.

2-Next: prepare the dressing by mixing all the dressing ingredients in a small bowl until smooth and creamy.

3-In a large clear dish or trifle bowl, begin layering with 3 cups of chopped romaine lettuce at the bottom for a fresh base.

4-Follow that with 3 cups of the cooked macaroni pasta, then add half of 1 diced red bell pepper for color and crunch.

5-Layer on 1/4 cup of finely diced red onion, 1/2 cup of thawed frozen green peas, and 1/3 cup of chopped celery for added texture.

6-Top with 1 1/2 cups of diced ham and 1/3 cup of black olives to bring in savory elements.

7-Finally, drizzle the prepared dressing over the layers and finish with 1/2 cup of shredded cheddar cheese on top.

8-Cover the dish and refrigerate for at least 5 hours to let the flavors blend.

9-Before serving, mix everything well to combine the ingredients evenly, creating that perfect layered pasta salad with fresh vegetables and creamy dressing.
