Ingredients
– 1 cookie pie crust, store-bought or homemade
– 1 (8 oz.) block of cream cheese
– 1/2 cup dulce de leche
– 1 cup powdered sugar
– 1 (8 oz.) package of whipped topping
– 3 candy bars, chopped
– 1/4 cup peanuts, chopped
– Melted chocolate for drizzling (optional)
Instructions
1-Prepare: Prepare all ingredients, including crushing the candy bars and softening the cream cheese for a lump-free mix.
2-Mix: In a large bowl, beat 1/4 cup of dulce de leche with the cream cheese until itβs smooth and creamy.
3-Add: Add the powdered sugar and beat again, then gently mix in the thawed whipped topping until fluffy. Fold in one chopped candy bar for extra crunch.
4-Layer: Spread 2 tablespoons of dulce de leche on the bottom of the pie crust, then sprinkle half the chopped peanuts and one chopped candy bar over it.
5-Fill: Pour the filling into the crust and smooth it out. Dollop the remaining 2 tablespoons of dulce de leche on top and swirl with a knife.
6-Top: Top with the rest of the peanuts and chopped candy bars, and drizzle melted chocolate if you want that extra touch.
7-Refrigerate: Refrigerate for at least one hour to let it set; this step makes the pie firm and full of flavor.
