🍫 Enjoy the rich combination of fudgy brownies with gooey caramel and crunchy pecans for a delightful treat.
πŸ₯§ This recipe blends classic pecan pie flavors with the comforting texture of brownies, perfect for any occasion.

  • Total Time: 55 minutes
  • Yield: 24 brownies

Ingredients

– 1 box brownie mix for a 13Γ—9 inch pan Forms the fudgy chocolate base

– 1 cup sugar Sweetens the filling

– 1 1/2 cups light corn syrup Adds gooey texture

– 4 eggs Binds the mixture together

– 1/4 cup unsalted butter Provides richness

– 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract Enhances flavor

– 2 cups pecans, roughly chopped Delivers crunch and nutty taste

Instructions

1-First Steps: Preheat and Mix the Filling
In a saucepan, whisk together 1 cup sugar, 1 1/2 cups light corn syrup, 4 eggs, 1/4 cup unsalted butter, and 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla. Cook over medium-high heat, stirring continuously for about 15-20 minutes until the mixture thickens and coats the back of a spoon, like runny oatmeal. Once thickened, stir in 2 cups of chopped pecans and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes to blend the flavors.

2-Preparing and Baking the Brownies: Prepare the brownie batter as directed on the package and pour it into a greased 13Γ—9 inch pan. Bake for about half the recommended time, roughly 20 minutes, to partially set the base. Then, remove from the oven and pour the pecan filling evenly over the top. Return to the oven for another 25-30 minutes until the filling is set but slightly jiggly in the center.

3- Allow the dessert to cool completely to room temperature before cutting into squares for the best texture.

4-First Step: Preheat the oven to the temperature on the brownie mix instructions and grease the pan for easy removal.

5-Second Step: Prepare the brownie base by following the package directions to mix the batter smoothly.

6-Third Step: Bake the batter for about 20 minutes to create that half-baked layer.

7-Fourth Step: Pour the pecan filling over the brownies evenly.

8-Fifth Step: Bake again for 25-30 minutes and let it cool fully.
