– 4 to 5 pounds St. Louis style pork spare ribs

Instructions

1-First: preheat your oven to 300 degrees Fahrenheit and season the 4 to 5 pounds of St. Louis style pork spare ribs generously with 2 teaspoons of kosher salt, and optionally add pepper or a spice rub.

2-After cutting the ribs into individual pieces, coat them with about 1 cup of the 18 ounces of barbecue sauce for that sticky glaze.

3-Arrange the ribs meat side up on a rimmed sheet pan and cover tightly with foil to lock in moisture.

4-They bake covered for 1 hour and 45 minutes to ensure they become tender.

5-Once that’s done, remove the foil and baste the ribs with half of the remaining sauce, about 1/3 cup, then bake uncovered at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 30 minutes until the edges caramelize.

6-Finally, baste again with the rest of the sauce and bake for another 20 to 30 minutes until the ribs are sticky and fully glazed, resulting in that perfect, flavorful finish.
