– 3 1/4 cups old fashioned oats

– 3/4 cup brown sugar

– 1/2 cup pumpkin puree

– 1/4 cup applesauce

– 1/4 cup honey

– 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

– 1 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

1- Preheat oven to 350ยฐF. Lightly grease an 8ร—8 inch baking pan to prevent sticking.

2- In a large bowl, whisk together the oats, pumpkin pie spice, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt until well mixed.

3- In a separate medium bowl, whisk together the brown sugar, pumpkin puree, applesauce, honey, and vanilla extract until smooth and combined.

4- Pour the wet mixture over the oat mixture and stir until all the oats are evenly moistened.

5- Stir in the chocolate chips to add those delightful bursts of flavor.

6- Press the mixture evenly into the prepared baking pan for uniform bars.

7- Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until golden brown and set in the middle.
