Instructions

1-Preheat oven to 350Β°F (175Β°C) and grease a 9Γ—13 inch baking pan.

2-Beat butter and sugar with an electric mixer on medium speed until smooth.

3-Add eggs, pumpkin puree, vanilla extract, and water; mix thoroughly.

4-In another bowl, mix flour, cinnamon, cloves, ginger, nutmeg, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.

5-Stir dry ingredients into wet ingredients until combined.

6-Spread about two-thirds of the batter evenly into the prepared pan.

7-Beat cream cheese, egg, sugar, and vanilla extract together until smooth.

8-Spread cream cheese mixture evenly over the pumpkin layer.

9-Dollop remaining pumpkin batter over the cream cheese layer and spread gently. Swirl the layers with a knife to create a marbled effect.

10-Bake for 30 to 35 minutes or until the center springs back when lightly pressed.
